Kulawa's Big Quiz Night-In
There is no lockdown on hope.
Coronavirus is spreading across our world and is dramatically impacting the poorest communities across the globe: those who are living in hunger, where social distancing is a privilege, and who don’t have the same access to information, sanitation and healthcare as we do.
The Hunger Project are working with thousands of local people in India, Bangladesh, Mexico and across Africa who are right now taking on the leadership roles of their lives to protect vulnerable communities and villages, and we need your support more than ever to help them reach those at risk. Sadly, it is also during this time that charities are hit the hardest through cancellation of fundraising events and huge reduction in income.
Kulawa Spices was set up by a team of STEM graduates to support The Hunger Project through selling unique spice-blend kits by:
a) Donating all our proceeds to The Hunger Project UK
b) Raising awareness of the incredible work that The Hunger Project carry out across the globe
c) Helping you to cook easy to make, delicious meals using spice blends that originate from the regions that The Hunger Project operate it.
In this unique, unprecedented time of crisis across the world, we at Kulawa Spices have been thinking of extra ways we could raise money for The Hunger Project, whilst at the same time helping us ease some of the very real struggles of being in lockdown for a sustained period. Therefore, we are proud to announce the Kulawa Big Quiz Night-In!
Join us for a general knowledge quiz from the comfort of your own home and help raise money for The Hunger Project UK – There really is no lockdown on hope or on an evening of quizzing funmania! The winner will also receive a set of our spice kit!
Minimum donation: £5 per house hold
5th May 2020
Join via Zoom from 7:25pm for a 7:30pm start
Winner will receive a Kulawa Fusion Spice Blend set
Instructions to join the quiz:
1) Donate a minimum of £5 (the more the merrier) to this fundraising page.
2) Screenshot or take a photo of your donation at the bottom of the fundraising page, making sure your name is visible – do not make an anonymous donation,
3) Send your screenshot to us at hello@kulawaspices.co.uk and we will reply with the zoom link you need to join on the night. If you do not already have zoom, you can download it for free via zoom.us.
4) All that’s left is to do now is to join us at 7:25pm on Tuesday 5th May!
