Coaches to End Hunger

This GivingTuesday, give the gift of empowerment to change the world.

GivingTuesday, 3rd December is the global day of giving and takes place after the shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

This GivingTuesday we are highlighting how it is the power of leadership development, training and coaching, that are key to changing the world.

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

No matter where you live or where you were born, awakening people to their own potential and leadership begins by understanding and shifting limiting mindsets and entrenched beliefs that leave them resigned, dependent and devoid of dignity.

The Hunger Project helps people to access that they themselves can figure out “how to fish”, and become leaders in their villages.

Join coaches from all sectors and all over the UK raising funds to empower men, women, boys and girls to end hunger in their communities.

Vision, Commitment and Action

Imagine you’ve grown up in a village, living in hunger and poverty. It’s all you’ve ever known. It’s like that now and it’s always been like that. The future looks like an extension of the past. Interrupting that thinking about what the future could look like is what we do; we call it shifting the mindset.

People are creative and resourceful. The Hunger Project helps to unlock this through our Vision, Commitment and Action Workshop (VCA) which, through our innovative methodology, inspires people to move from “I CAN’T” to “I CAN” and ultimately to “WE CAN”.

Through participation in our training, people set a vision for themselves and their communities then lay out the actions they will take to achieve that vision. Powerful change occurs when a community aligns behind a shared vision and believe the end of hunger is possible.

This groundbreaking social transformation methodology has impacted the lives of millions of people across the African continent and Bangladesh who have participated in a VCA Workshop.
